The short version: cancel whenever you like, keep reading to the end of what you paid for, and if something went wrong, write to us and we will make it right.
Cancelling
Sign in and cancel from your account page. It takes one click and needs no explanation. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not cut off your access — you keep reading until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account reverts to the free Doorway plan.
Refunds
Within 14 days of a charge, we refund it in full on request, no questions asked. That applies to a first payment and to a renewal you did not want.
An annual plan cancelled part-way — ask, and we will refund the unused whole months. We would rather return money than hold someone to a year they have stopped enjoying.
A renewal you did not notice — write to us. If you have not read anything since it charged, we refund it.
Refunds go back to the original card and usually appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
If we are the problem
If the site is down for a prolonged stretch, or publishing stops, or a plan does not give you the access it promised, tell us and we will refund the affected period whether or not the fourteen days have passed.
Please write before charging back
A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the payment and takes months to resolve. Email us first — we have never refused a reasonable refund and we are not going to start.
