Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can, we do not sell it, and there is no advertising here.

Last updated 12 August 2026.

What we collect

Your email address, when you sign up. That is the account.

Your name, if you choose to give it.

Payment information is collected and held by Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store your card number. We see only what Stripe tells us: that a payment succeeded, the plan, and the last four digits.

Basic usage data — which pages were opened, and whether an email was opened or a link clicked. We use this to know what people are reading. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not track you across other websites.

Who else is involved

The site runs on Ghost, which hosts the content and sends the newsletters. Payments run through Stripe. Those two companies process data on our behalf. Nobody else receives your information, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone, ever.

Email

Subscribers receive new episodes by email. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from email does not cancel a paid subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account.

Your rights

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your account removes your email address and reading history from our systems. Records Stripe must keep for tax and anti-fraud law stay with Stripe.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 13, and the Art Blue imprint is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, subscribers are told by email.
